Предмет і мета дисципліни «Іноземна мова»,
її місце і роль у навчальному процесі
Сучасні умови розвитку суспільства вимагають від випускника вищої школи практичного володіння іноземною мовою, що дозволяє ознайомитись з сучасними, передовими розробками в сфері організації та функціонуванні ділових підприємств, сприяє встановленню контактів з зарубіжними фірмами та підприємствами.
Мeтa: формування умінь та навичок ділового спілкування іноземною мовою в різних видах мовленнєвої діяльності для формування необхідної комунікативної спроможності у сферах професійного та ситуативного спілкування в усній і письмовій формах.
На даному етапі перевага надається узагальненню, систематизації та розвитку навичок зі складання та оформлення основних ділових документів (резюме, анкети, супроводжувального листа, службової записки, візитки, факсу, електронної пошти, листів та іншої документації). Навчання базується на принципі поєднання вивчення правил написання ділової документації з практичним застосуванням набутих знань.
Завдання: набуття навичок практичного володіння іноземною мовою в різних видах мовленнєвої діяльності в обсязі тематики, зумовленої професійними потребами; набуття навичок читання з повним розумінням змісту; складання іноземною мовою службових листів і документів з економічних питань; користування усним монологічним та діалогічним мовленням у межах загальноекономічної та фахової тематики; перекладу з іноземної мови на рідну та з рідної на іноземну ділових документів.
Предмет: закономірності та особливості використання лексичних, граматичних та стилістичних структур у процесі ділової усної та письмової комунікації.
Роль у навчальному процесі: курс ділової іноземної мови є важливою складовою програми підготовки спеціалістів. Вивчення дисципліни сприяє формуванню світоглядних та соціально-комунікативних компетенцій студентів.
Цілі навчальної дисципліни
- практична – формувати у студентів загальні та професійно орієнтовані комунікативні мовленнєві компетенції (лінгвістичну, соціолінгвістичну і прагматичну) для забезпечення їхнього ефективного спілкування в академічному та професійному середовищі;
- освітня – формувати у студентів загальні компетенції (вміння й навички); сприяти розвитку здібностей до самооцінки та здатності до самостійного навчання;
- пізнавальна – залучати студентів до таких академічних видів діяльності, які активізують і далі розвивають увесь спектр їхніх пізнавальних здібностей;
- розвиваюча – допомагати студентам у формуванні загальних компетенцій з метою розвитку їх особистої мотивації (цінностей, ідеалів); зміцнювати впевненість студентів як користувачів мови, а також їх позитивне ставлення до вивчення мови;
- соціальна – сприяти становленню критичного самоусвідомлення та вмінь спілкуватися;
- соціокультурна – досягати широкого розуміння важливих і різнопланових міжнародних соціокультурних проблем, для того щоб діяти належним чином у культурному розмаїтті професійних та академічних ситуацій.
Зміст навчальної дисципліни та види діяльності студентів
Зміст дисципліни розкривається в темах:
Читання, розуміння та переклад основних видів ділової документації
- Розвиток навичок читання та загальне/детальне розуміння змісту. Визначення позицій і точок зору автора.
- Читання і розуміння автентичних текстів з фахових підручників, Інтернетівських джерел.
- Засвоєння лексичних одиниць (мовних кліше), які використовуються при діловому листуванні.
Ділове писемне спілкування:
- Підготовка та написання документів, пов’язаних із влаштуванням на роботу.
- Ділове листування: структура та порядок складання.
- Написання факсів, електронних повідомлень.
- Структура та порядок складання контрактів.
- Написання службових записок, візитних карток.
Граматика
Граматична компетенція як знання та вміння користуватися граматичними ресурсами мови розглядається як цілісний механізм виконання комунікативних завдань в рамках даної ситуації. Мовні функції, необхідні для виконання комунікативних завдань, визначаються контекстом, пов’язаним із спеціалізацією. Отже вивчаються/повторюються основні граматичні структури, що є необхідними для гнучкого вираження відповідних функцій та понять, а також для розуміння і продукування текстів в професійній сферах та ділових документів зокрема.

Студент повинен вміти:
- вести бесіду впродовж 2-3 хвилин у рамках вивчених ситуацій ділового спілкування;
- підготувати повідомлення за заданою тематикою;
- запросити необхідну інформацію, дотримуючись стильових кодів.

Студент повинен вміти:
- скласти резюме, враховуючи різні види резюме й вимоги конкретного підприємства;
- заповнити аплікаційну форму;
- написати супроводжувального листа / рекомендаційного листа;
- заповнювати форми різних типів, використовуючи основні прийоми транслітерації (переклад власних імен, написання адреси та т.і.);
- написати (перекласти) різноманітні зразки ділових листів (запит, відповідь на запит, скарга та т.і.) та інші ділові документи (електронний лист, факс, візитна картка та т.і.)

Підсумковий контроль
Контроль знань студентів здійснюється за результатами контрольної роботи та усної відповіді студента, згідно заданої тематики. В кінці семестру проводиться залік, мета якого – перевірити готовність студентів до користовування іноземною мовою в професійній діяльності.
Контрольні роботи
Протягом 5 курсу студенти повинні виконати 1 контрольну роботу.
Для виконання контрольних робіт треба розібрати та вивчити необхідний лексичний та граматичний матеріал, який заплановано опанувати у 9 семестрі. Крім того, цей матеріал також пояснюється викладачем під час установчих занять. Виконані контрольні роботи відсилаються на адресу університету чи приносяться студентами особисто в ауд. В-210, де вони реєструються і даються викладачу на перевірку.
Кожне контрольне завдання подане у 10 варіантах. Студенти, чий номер студентського квитка закінчується цифрою:
